About Run For The Roses
There's no other event like the Tulsa Boys’ Home's annual Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby party! Our annual fundraiser Run for the Roses was held at the Pavilion at Expo Square on Saturday, May 4th, 2019. Guests mingled with friends as they savored an afternoon of spectacular cuisines exceptional refreshments, live music and of course the sights and sounds of Churchill Downs, including a live simulcast of all Kentucky Derby races (guests even had the opportunity to place bets on all of the races).
The famous Art Deco Pavilion was once again spectacularly decked out with thousands of fresh, live, red roses and lights.
Thank you for supporting our 15th annual Run for the Roses with us this year! Please know you are all a very special part of something much greater than us all, helping to bring hope and a life with purpose to young boys whose hope had long ago faded away.
As one of Oklahoma’s oldest non-profit residential treatment facilities, Tulsa Boys’ Home has graciously and gratefully benefited from outstanding community support. Proceeds from the event will help pay for food, clothing, treatment, and other day-to-day living expenses for our boys in their pursuit of a better life.
